Wow ! this is great ! well my favourite funny story, was when myself and fellow culprits Clara Nungbe and Femicit, did the Extension Ghost in our last year in school, all SS3 girls had stayed back for the extension so we cud study, but there where no juniors to run errands, so u had to study and go get bathing water urself ! Well on this day we had studied late into the night and it was too dark to go fetch water, u guyz know how far borehole was abi ? Anyway, so we do the sharpest thing anyone in a tight situation would do, u know that junction coming from the hostel that leads u to the staff quarters ko ? We now lodged ourselves somewhere around the junction, under one of the tsamiya trees, Clara and Femicit dressed me up in white bedsheets (we were suppose to wash too ) and ingeniously stuck neem tree leaves in my little get up... the Extension Ghost had been born ! U know anybody cummin from the bore hole would have to take that route abi ? Now the plan was to put the holy fear in people just for fun, (extension was boring ) but then, we had an aha moment ! We could also get water from the kegs they threw running for their lives ! So we ran that scam for three days steady no shakin, but of course we where caught, I dont remember who put the word out on me but all i remember is that... Femicit and Clara left me out to dry and i think Funmi Akinlade gave me a little smacking, she was particularly pissed...

I did the usual, nothin fabulous, went to the university the next year,( i wuz really suprised about that) i didnt expect i had do as well as i did in my finals, cos i had been suspended from school for... well thats a story for another time... anyway i gained admission at U Jay, read law, i considered myself a non academic student cos i did more outside school than in. I was a radio present at FM Jos for a while, i hooked up with an NGO doing prison rounds, This little experience made me take law seriously. I graduated in 2001, went to law school in 2002, served at Bauchi in 2003. I have been in and out of Jobs but finally decided to set up my own legal practice and thats what i am doing now, I practice law. I am all for self employment and never miss an opportunity to encourage that in people, i had like to encourage that in my old gals as well its not all rosy rosy but lets u have time for you, your spouse and your babies. It may not be the instant hit u expect it to be but its a start... Lets have a reunion, every year, this was like, like therapy ! it felt good.
